The staff was amazing and friendly, directing me to great restaurants and helpful tips about getting around town. The room looked and felt as if I was the first person to have stayed in the room.

Absolutely the cleanest hotel we've stayed at! Excellent location, large room, and friendly staff. We initially had a little bit of difficulty finding the hotel entrance, called the hotel and staff was very patient and helpful.

This is a brand new hotel and they are still completing the restaurant. Our room was very comfortable with very high ceilings and celestory windows. The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and other attractions.

Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and museums and this newly opened establishment in an old bank is thoughtfully laid out and decorated.

We had a wonderful stay at the Promissory hotel. Staff were super helpful and courteous, room was super clean and bathrooms recently renovated. Parking was easy. We will definitely come back.

Great location, close to the hospital which i was taking classes. Room was clean bright, spacious and laid out well. Staff very accommodating and lovely to talk to. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful new hotel. Great location central to all things downtown. Our concierge at check in was amazing and the champagne was perfect. We were upgraded to a suite for our stay and it was a beautiful room, lots of room to move around and the bar area really worked for us.

Clove this repurposed building. It’s spacious and a bit spartan. Thankful for the upgrade to a two bedroom suite. Great staff with excellent communications. I would definitely stay here again!

I love reading reviews while traveling to help me choose a place to stay in a new town - this is a new hotel in an old building and the rooms are gorgeous and felt new. Great smelling soaps and lotions. Still doing some construction and final touches but that didn’t affect our stay. If you are reading this- book it!

Staff was great, rooms were very good with high ceilings, fridge, plenty of space, but no microwave. Parking was a small hassle, but a short walk does someone good. Location was fantastic. The only big problem was, hotel not yet finished. No lobby, no restaurant, no place to enjoy friends. Probably 6 months away from be completed and have a five star rating.

The suite was spacious, beautifully designed with a simple elegant style, and felt more like staying in our own luxury apartment than a hotel. We loved the premium amenities, especially the Molton Brown products, quality tea and coffee setup, and the very comfortable beds. The complimentary bakery each morning was also a lovely touch. What made the stay truly special was the exceptional service. Every staff member made us feel welcomed and cared for, creating one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is perfect as well — right on the downtown main street and easy walking to many the attractions. The parking is not attached to the hotel but only a minute walk. The guest can park in front of the hotel for checkin before go to park the car. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again

Absolutely amazing place to stay! This was my sister and I’s last stop after doing a cross country road trip and it couldn’t have been a better place to end this leg of our trip. We had to book a room here last minute due to some really bad weather and Gloria was so incredibly helpful and kind. She even upgraded us to a two bedroom room! The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. If I ever end up in Roanoke again I will absolutely stay here again!

The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very helpful. She even went outside to point to the parking garage since which was close. They had good coffee and local fresh pastries in the lobby. They also blessed us with a room upgrade. I would definitely stay there again. There were lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

yes i did nto use the Gym but well eqquiped. The hotel is right in the heart of the commercial area, the campbell street.There are plenty of food joints . thai , indian, Cuban, Southern food as well as regular American Diners. walking distance from the Museum as well as the hotel and convention center. 10 min by car from the Roanoke Star and 28 min from the famous McAfee Knob Trail head. A good quality Hotel to stay in

It's a very new hotel and they are still sorting out a few details like signs (we found the entrance after a brief adventure). Room is huge with nice robes, towels and toiletries. Shower was great. Design is classy if a bit bland. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I did miss my in room coffee, although they had good coffee available in the lobby.

The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable; the room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. We will definitely stay there whenever we are in Roanoke. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the hotel has a small loading area and it would have been great to have had valet parking as the hotel makes use of a parking garage separate from the hotel.

This hotel exceeded every expectation I had. First of all, the property itself is beautiful. We enjoyed learning about the history of the property and how they kept certain architectural aspects of the bank. Our room was stunning, with elegant design choices and vaulted ceilings. It is right in the heart of downtown Roanoke, which put us within walking distance from plenty of restaurants and local shops, and a 20 minute drive from the mountains. All of that being said, what sets this hotel apart from other luxury hotels is the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we checked in to the moment we left, making sure we felt welcomed and cared for. Thank you to Deja and Johnie for taking such good care of us during our stay. I can't recommended this hotel enough and we can't wait to return.
