"Location- walk to everything, explore the best of Baltimore. clean, excellent beds, staff is amazing. Restaurant was fantastic."

"Convenient location, but not worth coming back to. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The modern "updates" in the decor were poorly done, the shower grout was moldy, there was a missing sink stopper, the tv fell off the wall, the floor was dirty - the list goes on. The fire alarm went off in the morning calling for guests to evacuate which turned out to be false, but then "maintenance" (also front desk individual?) had to enter the room to test the room alarm and couldn't get it to turn off. Don't be fooled by the brightly colored lobby image. This felt like a bait and switch."

"How could expedia sell this property as 4 stars?!! The room didn’t have a safe box (in Baltimore!) room did not have water or anything else - an empty fridge. Expedia description misled us! Also, I filtered for hotels with parking- there was no parking either."

"The building itself is architecturally grand however, this comes at the cost of comfort. The air conditioning is atrocious. The elevators are scary. The carpeting, fixtures are antiquated to say the least. No updated outlets or electronic charging amenities. No available room service, no non-paid parking or continental breakfast available. If your a historic architecture fan, it's a must see but definitely NOT a comfortable stay. Hot, old, musty. Needs updated desperately or drastic room price reduction."

"Time for some upgrades - torn carpet, worn out sofas in bar, damaged wall paper. But staff was excellent! Bathroom was nice and bed was comfy - and such a great location in Inner Harbor"

"Management staff was very welcoming and responsive. Shot out to Charles the valet- he was exceptional . Cleaning lady was asked to come back in 10 minutes. She failed to return. Had to request management help to get it cleaned after two days. The other patrons were noisy. Breakfast was challenged - no free coffee after 9am. Room telephone was inoperable- tried to call the front desk to report an incident and only received a busy signal. Room was a bit dark. Lighting needs to be upgraded."
