โI stayed here a long time ago when it was in soft-opening mode. I didn't know there were newer additions to the hotel, and I wish I'd known to book a room in main building with high ceiling.โ
โReally nice stay - modern trendy room with a turntable and four poster bed - lovely pantry room and a really cool bar with a working model train - very friendly nice service in the bar - one word of caution is that we did get blocked in in the car park!โ

A very easy stroll into York City. Everything you could want in a stay. Breakfast was very generous. And laundry dervice provided on request.โ

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was ready 4 hours early so we were able to check straight in. Really handy as they have lockers you can leave your stuff in to go back and collect after youโve checked out, saves you having to carry big bags and cases around York with you. We will definitely be back. Perfect location to, only a 10 minute walk to York city centre. โ
โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ
