"The rooms are very claustrophobic with nowhere to put your things. No wardrobes, cupboards, or even a small shelf, so all your belongings have to go on the floor. There are zero amenities in the room ( no tv, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc) just one towel each and one pillow each, thin duvet and extremely basic lumpy mattress. Rooms really clean but corridors filthy and carpets full of stains. Signage to rooms needs to be much clearer. Location incredible and staff helpful however. Just not a fair price vs what you get (especially vs the main basic chain hotels)."

"The rooms are very small and make it difficult to live out of a large suitcase. However, I will say that this is probably the quietest hotel that I have ever been in, which was unexpected in the heart of London. I appreciated the availability of bottled filtered water and in-room coffee maker. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers."

"Only booked here because I had to stay in London last minute and there were few choices. £280 for a box prison cell room in which I lay contemplating how I could have got a limousine ride home for less. However as a hotel the location is pretty decent and this would suit a lot of people when rates are lower. Having to check yourself in and out is a bit of self serve joke though, service non existent"

"Housekeeping was a little rough. We had to keep asking for wash clothes. I stayed at this same hotel in August and we had robes, slippers, toothbrushes and there was none of that. I had ask for wash clothes twice and they didn’t do a great at cleaning the room.. completely different experience."

"I liked the garden and being close to the river , but as I was in a wheel chair it was difficult to access the terrace and garden from the hotel restaurant. There was no view from the window in fact couldn't see out or open probably for security reasons. On the whole our stay was enjoyable the staff very helpful and kind . The building very interesting and full of character. Yours Sincerely, Margaret Collins."
