“What a beautiful and nice and quiet place in a small hamlet, close to the Gironde! The room was large and very inviting, and the bathroom was huge! We stayed for 4 nights and it was great. The hosts were very nice and pointed us to places in the area to explore; without those hints we would have missed the market in Royan or the towns of Meschers and Talmont. Every morning, the hosts provided us with breakfast, with breads and croissants from a variety of local bakeries. Thanks Tim and Amanda,...

“I stayed in the Douceur Medoquine room and it was large, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The setting is peaceful and next door to the famous Chateau Pichon Baron. The owners, Pascale and Alex, were very helpful, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Uber and taxi service was somewhat unreliable so it is a good idea to have a car. I highly recommend Le Coeur des Vignes.”
