“I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras.”

“Great view from the property. Easy to get to and to get around. Having a dock on the property makes it easy to hail a boat when you have your luggage so you dont have to carry it into town. Nice and quiet town with clean water that you can swim in. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Only concern would be that when we used the sauna and poured the water on the heating mechinism to make steam a whole colony of ants flooded out.”

“The room was beautiful, the staff were very accommodating and Gaby& Jochen were so welcoming. Breakfast was amazing as were the dinners, especially with the incredible view. The view of the lake with the volcanos in the background is unbeatable! If you want a peaceful stay in lake atitlan this is definitely the place to be.”

“This property was not at all where Expedia said it was. I ended up getting a message on WhatsApp and had to follow a video to get to the property. It was in a small alley and no directions. Had to use context clues to find a restaurant that was in the video and follow from there. We were waiting by the door for a while because someone had to come unlock it for us. I booked the top room and got the room under it. The top room was taken. I ended up becoming extremely disappointed with this because...
