Salisbury, England hotel rooms at the Greene King

"It is a very nice historic property with a great location, and not too expensive. I have not used the dining room, just needed a place to overnight within walking distance of station."

"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

"Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant."

"The hotel is well situated and the room suited my needs but was very tired and in need of a spruce up. Walls very scuffed, shower curtain had brown stain all along bottom, and door chain didn’t work. Lots of little things which don’t do the hard working and very nice staff justice."

"Pleasent stay, very dog friendly, lovely staff and great location for walks by the beach. We also had dinner and breakfast in the pub and both meals were really good. "

"Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
