“The room was clean, the bed was comfy and it was reasonably quiet, and very conveniently sited, which was all we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. If you're after something more fancy this will not be for you, but if you just want a solid place to sleep then it's a good choice.”

“Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent.”

The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. “When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower.
