"We got married here 20 years ago and decided to go back for the night. Nothing much has changed. Very quiet. We were the only guests. Room very basic.and could do with updating. Breakfast was loverly. But again we were the only 2 people there. For what we paid was ok. But we wont be returning "

"Although our room was newly redecorated and carpeted, the entire room was covered in paint dust. There was still masking tape covering the light rose AND one of the window curtains was hanging off. We had to use a hair clip to close it. While these arent big things they do impact your stay.The food was okay. Frozen chips and frozen peas. The co tine tal breakfast was a bit sparse too. The grounds are very well kept a d beautiful. The staff are all really pleasant and helpful."
