We have stayed here multiple times before but this last stay will be our last. The room set up was horrible on the room with 1 queen bed and a sofa bed; the sofa bed when extended doesn’t give you any room to get to the bathroom. The cover on the sofa bed was disguising, it was stained, visibly dirty with hair and other debris, and the mattress was in even worse condition when we requested a new mattress cover and saw that the mattress was dirty brown with springs showing and disintegrating in our hands. The shower was not clean, there were some questionable items left on the wall and the tub had visibly cracked in multiple places and had not bad patch jobs. The tubs were also extremely slick and were a very big fall hazard. The floors at first glance looked clean but one step on them told you otherwise, you got would be black after a few steps around. Normally that’s not too much of an issue but since we were traveling with small kids, that meant that they couldn’t crawl around freely nor play on the ground. We had requested 1 room downstairs, preferably a handicap room, and both rooms were upstairs. When we checked in the front desk clerk had said that Expedia did not relay that information to the hotel and it was never received. Having worked at a hotel, I knew that was not the case, you always receive the guest notes, and was extremely disappointed at the dishonesty. The hotel used to be a gem in the community but it does seem to have gone downhill.
