Location was shady but inside the building was nice. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was extremely spacious, although it didn't have many amenities for a longer stay, but since we only stayed the night, it was a really good hotel for the price.
Clean is room, staff is helpful, covered free parking is a huge plus, and price is good, 20 mins walk to Japantown.
The area is a bit run down with unhoused people sitting/hanging around on the side of the hotel talking very loud

The hotel was what you get for the price. The building is in downtown surrounded by homeless and I wouldn’t recommend walking at night. The garage entrance is open and anyone can come in and out. However, the staff were nice and the rooms were of decent size. We only stayed for one night and wanted to be close to everything, it worked out perfectly for us.

"Don't judge a book by its cover"—that’s how I’d describe the hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy, sure, but it is San Francisco, after all. The room was nice and clean. My only issue was that I arrived very early, and the hotel doesn't have a room to store luggage while waiting for check-in; the guy working there wasn't very helpful regarding the bags, either. I'm not sure if I'd stay there again.
Okay the outside looks suspicious and “dirty” BUT BUT before you judge the exterior and the environment, do take into consideration that it is San Francisco.
The hotel is extremely safe and they put endured safety.
Parking garage, elevator (room key needed) to access rooms, rooms are clean, bars walking distance.
10/10 would book again! Also Pete and his dog are so sweet.

There was lots of places open late for a late night meal around the area
The experience was amazing. First time in SF. The hotel overall was clean. Offcourse outside it’s out of their control but once inside it was great. Staff is amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
There is parking which waa great. The room was clean n the frig n microwave n TV were in good shape n worked. Hallway waa dirty n had an odor on the 3rd floor n it wqa noisy late at night. Needs a little bit of an upgrade but u cant beat the price n the location in the tenderloin district! I walked everywhere n it was close to stores n all parts of San Francisco!
Lots of homeless people around but not a problem. Had a Great time in the city!!!

They have onsite parking which is a plus with dedicated space for our motorcycles which was nice. Make sure you bring your own toiletries as they only provide soap. No coffee or tea service anymore but there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately the neighborhood streets like many cities these days have homeless and other who are less fortunate which is sad. So many cool old buildings in the area though!
Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Honestly not bad at all! As conveniently located as you can get for the nice price. Parking included which is SO NICE in SF. Couple homeless outside, but otherwise great.
Room was OK & staff was very nice.
However, the bed was hard on one side & the other side all I felt were the springs making it uncomfortable. The blanket & bedspread, if you want to call it that, was as thin as the sheet. No extra blanket in the room. Had to keep the heat up to stay warm.
