โOne South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. โOur stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice.โ
โPleasantly surprised about this property. Didn't know what to expect but great location, large room, friendly staff. The lounge downstairs just adds to the appeal. โ
โThe staff was wonderful - lots of great recs for dining & things to do. We didn't explore much of Belize City, but we got great info for the time we were there.
Everyone says the city isn't safe - but honestly, be smart and don't do dumb things like flash cash, and you'll be fine :)โ
โThe hotel had very little to no amenities. They had filtered water in the community kitchen. The room had a refrigerator and cable tv. The bed was comfortable. It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food. โ
โIt seemed as though we were the only people there. We had privacy in tye pool area, the pool had a breathtaking view & the gym was very well equipped. The breakfast was delicious, & the bed waa very comfortable.โ
โMs Vinny is absolutely the BEST! Her pleasantries and personality was so welcoming! After a long journey, she made our time very special! I will definitely book again and again! We had no issues despite being a last minute booking, Ms. Vinny was readily available and efficient! VERY impressive service!!!! โ
