The hotel is currenty under reconstruction so the pool and top deck were unavail for use. However.. the staff includeing mgt were more than helpful and personable. We celebrated our 30th anniversary during our stay and the hotel went out of their way to make it as enjoyable as i could have imagined.

Our stay was short but wondeful! The bartenders were friendly as was the staff. Prices are excellent for the quality of food and drinks. We were just sad that the pool was under construction so that wasn't available for us, but we were compensated for that. We'll definitely recommend!

The upgraded room I paid extra for was a total catfish moment .I was not expecting such a low quality room.This is definitely a 3 star hotel .I would never book here again .Pool was closed the bar and restaurant area was boring / dead .I didn’t even care to use the free complimentary breakfast voucher.

Definitely recommend staying here. The staff was very wonderful, they gave us some great information about activities around town. They are also located right next to a food truck and a supermarket which was a plus for my guest and I. The rooms are a bit small to my liking but nonetheless very accommodating. They also have a microwave in some of the rooms which was very helpful with me reheating leftovers, the staff were friendly. They have a rooftop bar and restaurant the food there was good. Overall very nice place to stay. I will be back.

Beautiful Hotel, but Disappointed by the Amenities We stayed at Watermark Hotel during our trip to San Pedro, Belize, and overall, I’d give our experience a 3 out of 5. Let me start with the positives. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! The interior design, decor, and overall aesthetics were gorgeous. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we enjoyed having a balcony. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. However, my biggest disappointment was the amenities. I specifically chose Watermark because of its rooftop pool and bar. Those were major deciding factors when selecting our accommodations, so discovering that they were unavailable during our stay was extremely disappointing. When I’m booking a hotel, I consider the entire experience, not just the room. And while the room and property were beautiful, not being able to enjoy the amenities that influenced my booking made a significant difference. Would I say it’s a bad hotel? Absolutely not. There are definitely things to appreciate about Watermark. But would I have chosen it had I known the rooftop pool and bar wouldn’t be available? Probably not. For that reason, my overall rating is 3 out of 5 stars. My recommendation to future guests would be to confirm which amenities are actually available before booking, especially if the rooftop pool and bar are important to your stay.
