"Only thing we were disappointed in was the 7pm pool closing time. For such hot weather, we were very surprised to not have the chance for some evening swimming. Food at the BRGR Lounge was great! We appreciated the blue & white towels for the beach and the ease in switching them out. Thank you, Steve & Susan Peters"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Siesta! The location is fabulous—right on the beach and easy driving access to all of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Our hotel suite was clean and roomy with very comfortable beds. The decor is DATED…..didn’t look anything like the picture shown on the website—though the website did indicate that the rooms are all decorated differently…..was expecting a more updated suite overall. The other reason we rated this hotel as a 4 out of 5 is because there is some sort of “fake” air freshener smell throughout the whole suite. We did not care for the smell at all and we couldn’t locate the source of this odor. But overall, the location made our stay a great experience"

"Great hotel, wonderful staff & grounds well maintained. Lovely, spacious room with large bathroom, full kitchen, balcony overlooking the Gulf. Easy walk to pool & Gulf beach, nice bar with food available, wonderful staff who set up beach chairs with umbrellas. Had an outstanding time & was sad to leave."

"Here’s a polished version of your review: My family of three, along with our small dog, stayed at the Anchor Inn for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Lucky 13 unit, which features a comfortable king bedroom and a pullout sofa bed. My daughter prefers sleeping on her air mattress, which actually worked out perfectly because it took up less space and allowed us to relax together on the sofa and enjoy family movie nights. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the kitchenette—the vintage-style refrigerator and stove are absolutely adorable and add so much character. The design choices throughout the unit are thoughtful and charming. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were surprisingly spacious. The air conditioning worked great, which was especially appreciated after spending time outdoors. While the property is not directly on the beach, it is centrally located and just a short ride away. The owners have thought of everything for beach days, providing bikes, beach chairs, and towels for guests to use. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Anchor Inn. We would definitely stay here again."

"What a unique and clean property. The Polynesian theme was well done with areas of tranquility. The pool house had a kitchen and dishes which was well maintained. Our room was clean, updated and cool on those hot days. Great staff..so warm and friendly! Will definitely stay there again."
