"I booked this stay expecting a relaxing, high-end experience, and instead had one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had.
The hotel failed to disclose that a large music festival was taking place directly next to the property, with loud DJ sets running until 2am. From check-in at 4pm through late into the night, there was constant, heavy bass and music blasting outside my window. This was not minor noise. It made it impossible to relax or even comfortably sit in the room.
When I called the front desk shortly after arriving to ask when the music would end, I was told I could use earplugs and a noise machine. I raised multiple concerns during my stay, and while the front desk agent was kind, no meaningful solution was offered that evening.
The following day, I spoke with the Assistant General Manager, Oscar, who lacked empathy and stated there was nothing they could do, claiming they were unaware of the event. This was difficult to believe given that there were visible flyers posted outside the hotel and throughout the surrounding streets promoting the festival and its late hours.
A small discount was offered, which did not come close to addressing the severity of the disruption. I requested a follow-up conversation with the General Manager and was told I would receive a call on Monday, April 6. That call never happened.
