The property was great and had live music going on which I thought was pretty cool. Lost of stuff to do with the kiddos as well. Rooms are nice and have everything you would need. Quick drive to Santa Cruz as well. Would definitely stay here again

The Brookdale is an older property, they are currently updating. It was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a market on site, a diner and a bar. The food from the diner was delicious, the market had some nice choices, the bar had a pool table and good atmosphere.

We needed a place near Mount Hermon and stumbled upon this historic inn that Marilyn Monroe once stayed at. I can't wait to go back after their restaurant with a creek running through it is back up and running. The lobby staff was very helpful and kind.

Kind of bummed about the construction going on at the pool and restaurant and the bar was closed the majority of our stay. However the food at the diner was great. And the location is beautiful. The pillows on the bed were terrible and flat so maybe bring your own pillows.

Nice place to stay. Nothing fancy. Quiet location. A couple things to note. Cell service is spotty because of the remoteness and the dog fee is a little steep. The property is in need of some fixing up here and there. But all in all, it was a pleasant choice.

Room was HUGE! Nice patio overlooking the property and trees. The day we arrived, there was tacos and bbq happening for Father’s Day. Staff were friendly and let us check in early after a long drive and day. There is a restaurant and store on property. Store was reasonably priced. Quiet and peaceful.
