"We came to stay, but the smoking issue was an issue for me because I have chronic pain. I use medical marijuana for that pain instead of opioids. We couldn’t even smoke in our own car if we were on the property. Although other people may think that this is not an issue, it is an issue for me. Instead of being greeted warmly by the front staff the young lady seems scared to death to be there. There were cameras, watching every room in every hallway and I found this invasive. When we went to visit the room, it smelled terrible. I believe it was mold. The manager on duty refused to refund our first night because he said we walked into the room. I only walked into the room to see if it was suitable for us. I do not recommend that you stay here unless you are not bothered by a room that smells like mold in an unfriendly staff. They only gave us back one night fees, even though we did not stay there. Sarasota has a lot of hotel hotels make another Choice. "

"The poolside was wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Everything was top notch. Staff was friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Sarasota."

"Much better than I expected. I read the reviews and saw the pictures and I was expecting it to be pretty much average as a hotel can be. It was very unique with its own vibe. My only complaint would be the water closet design. Toilet and shower are separated by a wall, but share a single sliding glass door. While taking a duce, I felt like I was on a cruise ship."
