Our room did have a few maintenance needs, in particular a shower that was difficult to regulate due to malfunctioning taps and a lamp that wasn’t working. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The staff in the lounge were extremely helpful and courteous. Overall, it was a good stay.”

Other younger desk staff made mistakes (got room number wrong for taxi and almost sent driver away, then called a second taxi while driver was still there) or were unhelpful and gave up easily (looked for a lost jacket indifferently). Older desk staff made much more of an effort and found coat easily. Younger staff lacked a willingness to work.”

“Where to start - I was clearly looking warm and tired upon my arrival so the staff made sure my room was ready early so I could settle in and freshen up. I asked for directions to the nearest shopping precinct only to be told it was a little too far to walk to on such a hot day, but a member of staff would be happy to drive me there. Which they thankfully did. Returned later in the evening to a fantastic and very reasonably priced evening meal. At check out the reception staff, once again, went...

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”
