"We stayed at Renaissance Wind Creek primarily for access to Renaissance Island and Flamingo Beach, but unfortunately, the hotel was not worth the cost. Looking back, I would have rather booked an excursion to the island than stayed at this property.
We reserved a garden-view room but were given a room overlooking the parking lot—there was no garden view! When I asked the front desk about changing rooms, I was told I would need to pay an upgrade fee. Considering the resort fee was already $77/day, I wasn't willing to spend a penny more. The resort fee itself was not justified by the amenities offered. They also gave us a room on the family side instead of the adult side. We were not aware there was an option for that.
The first room we were assigned smelled terrible. The carpet was soaking wet, leaving the room with an unpleasant odor. To the hotel's credit, they moved us to another room and sent a fruit plate as an apology, but the fruit was stale and only added to the disappointment. I emailed the manager, Lisa, regarding my concerns and never received a response.
The staff overall was friendly and accommodating. Claudine, who worked in the pool area, was especially kind and provided great service. The gym was the best amenity. We ate at Grand Frish restaurant because hotel food was terrible!
Flamingo Beach is beautiful and Aruba itself is amazing and would absolutely visit again. However, I would not stay at Renaissance Wind Creek again and would not recommend it to others!"
Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful resort, conveniently locate, nice quiet place. Awesome selection of food and drinks. Pool and beach area are beautiful. Staff super nice and helpful. Taxi service usually available in front of resort, had to call for one but he was there in less than 5 minutes. The building has a little age, but has been well maintained and clean. It is located right on Palm Beach and has the most beautiful water I’v seen (cold but beautiful). Highly suggest a stay there."
"Best service ever! This was our second visit to Aruba and chose the Ritz Carlton this visit and it did not disappoint. We have never stayed at a resort where all service employees went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Beautiful property and best restaurants to dine. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and received an upgraded room and other amenities upon arrival. We will definitely come again."
"We had a wonderful experience at Divi All Inclusive. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their hospitality and would gladly return."
"Rooms seemed a bit dated, but being right off the beach and right across from food and entertainment was perfect. Rooms around us were smoking what seemed to be everything, and it fed into our room, but not a hotels fault. Overall, excellent, but be prepared to pay the extra $600 in fees when arriving. If unaware it can cut into budgets pretty heavily."
