"We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was beautifully served with hot to order foods. Coffee and tea were brought to the table by staff.

"In its heyday it was probably a lovely hotel but its tired. We were in a ground floor room (which is actually partially subterrainan) musty smell, mold on wall, peeling paint. This is not to say rhey haven't made upgrades. Bathroom fixtures are new, beds are new and comfortable, lighting is good, breakfast was abundant and staff was very kind."
"It’s a lovely little place just on the outskirts of Oban, hospitality was amazing. We was greeted when we pulled up. I will give a big shout out to the daughter and the son-in-law as they were looking after the premises for the owners. We walked Ben Nevis on Saturday and they provided a sandwich drink and a few crisps which was extremely helpful much better than a Tesco’s value meal deal. Also, we had a cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning which was lovely and not greasy, which is good. We stayed in the twin room although we are a couple we just pushed the beds together and they didn’t have any issues with that lovely size room very well kept and clean good size bathroom and just a good all-round comfortable environment.
It’s about an hours drive from Ben Nevis! Would recommend this place to anybody stay or pass through the area definitely five stars for me and good value for money. I think we paid £118 for two nights. 👍"
