"Do not pull in the driveway to check in, it's extremely small and hard to maneuver you car. I almost got stuck trying to leave because the driveway is so narrow. I stayed at Marea Sol and had a wonderful time, just park in the lot around the corner. Location is great, directly across from Main Beach."

"All the staff were outstanding! The hotel and my room were spotless. I was able to do laundry. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Valet was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations for travel, dining, and entertainment. This location was a last minute decision and what a great decision it was. The hotel was very suitable for kids. I highly recommend this Hyatt location!"

"Nice place and located in a good area. Staff in hotel were very kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. They do not supply much in toiletries and the in room coffee was not great, but overall we had a nice stay."

"This stay was to allow for us to be close to the 1/2 marathon. The hotel is beautiful, a very unique, older hotel. The check in was seamless and the valets were amazing! The room was small, but laid out well and the ac was perfect for the hot weather. It was a pleasure to have a fridge in the room. I did find morning desk staff to be less friendly than the wonderful afternoon person who checked us in, however, they were efficient. If we get back to San Jose, would definitely stay again."

"Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a quick and easy check-in. Facility is a great venue for socializing and enjoying the outdoor patio and fireplace with live entertainment. The food is decent. We also enjoyed the coffee and tea bar. The only negative was a few issues with the facility maintenance, including lukewarm or no hot water, hard to turn sink faucet and loud banging door to our room and broken curtain slide."
