“Loved the inn, the staff are so funny and kind. And that restaurant connected to it. OMG.”

“The hotel was great -- good location (about an hour to AcadiaNP), friendly staff, clean rooms. We had a view of the river from our room and there is a path behind the hotel to walk along the waterfront. The only down side was the mattress and pillows -- way too soft! Since we were exhausted after hiking all day it was bearable (would have slept on a bench). If the bed was firmer it would have been great!”

“I have been here a lot over the years and I really enjoy The Fireside! The staff is always kind, I love everything that’s available in the lobby and the rooms are like and clean! I will say that the bottom floor is my least favorite thing, the appliances need to be updated and we did have a noisy neighbor but the women at the front desk did help with that! ”

We watched the sun rise from our bedroom window, it was perfect. The bedding was super soft and the cottage was warm and cosy. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night! ”
