"It's great for a short stay only, for me. It's conveniently located on Rte 1. The staff were friendly, and it was clean and quiet. They need to accelerate upgrades to AC systems. My room had a hole in the floor that needs repair, near bathroom threshold. The TV is too small to view from the bed located on opposite wall - they should upgrade TVs too. The fridges lack a freezer compartment. Overall good."

"Very nice stay. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were on the smaller side, but comfortable, super clean, and we both slept very well. One thing that we wished that we had known earlier, was to go around the back of the building. We discovered it when out for an evening walk. There were more rooms and a large area with pretty string lights, a lot of seating, grills and even a firepit or two. There were also 2 brand new cabins and they told us that they are in the process of building many more. On the pricier side for a motel, we were wondering how expensive one of their cabin stays would be. But we also realize how hard it is to find that kind of customer service, along with clean rooms, beautiful, maintained outdoor space, and comfortable rooms, The only thing lacking was a pool and 24/7 ice machine access. :) We loved the talent of the gardener!! We have never seen such giant, well cared for, GIANT hanging baskets! Nice change of pace, being able to pull right up to our room, as well. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and give this lovely location an easy 5 stars!"

"This place was perfect for what we wanted to experience. An old inn with access to the reach. Beautiful wraparound porch! The bed was super comfortable. Sitting by the water was so peaceful."

"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding. Very spacious rooms. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our balcony view to the ocean was memorable. If your long for R&R this is the place to come to in Maine."
