To be honest, due to me being a clean freak, i had to Move out after 2 days but many people there i met lived there for weeks. So if your okay with it, the price is good for what its worth

Guesthouse was convenient, only bad thing is the walls. I've stayed there a couple of times so i kinda got used to it. It can be really noisy at noisy and can be quite cold. Though they provide shampoo and shower gel, would recommend to bring own ones cause theirs are like the cheap ones. Staff are really helpful. There's both pros and cons. depends on what you're looking for in your accommodation

The staffs are friendly and good communicator. They are so kind to all guests and will to talk to us... They are also multilingual staff there so there is no communication barrier among us...especially Han(one of the staffs) are really kind and friendly

It was a bit challenging to find but it served its purpose for me and the rate was what I wanted. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely go back.

manager was really rude
the manager was really rude and when I asked questions on where shower room is located, he be like ,"you don't know how to read the sign?you didn't read the manual instructions in the front desk?, etcs." I heard they were really nice to Japanese guests. even as Korean visiting the guesthetc. I felt very uncomfortable. the only reason I booked here is because I had good.service at the other location near Seoul Station. I saw manager trying to teach his workers, they were really nice and helpful. He is the one who should be nice to the customer. I'm going to recommend my friends to visit other guesthouse.

Great location and reasonable price
The room was not bad considering the price. Although it was not completely clean and tidy as hotels, the amenities and facilities were fairly acceptable. Since this place is a hostel, socialising with other guests were fun, although staffs seemed not that friendly but wanted to hang out only with themselves. But they were kind when I checked in and out, which is enough I think. I'd recommend this place to whom are planning to spend minimal times in accomodations and concentrate on travel or other things to do. Don't expect too much at this price. I'm not saying this place wasn't good, but if you lower the bars to fit the prices, you will know it was a fairly satisfactory stay.

Good enough
This is a bare bones hostel that had clean linens, a place to keep your food, and other guests were friendly. Bathrooms are not on every floor, so ask if you are a person that may need to use the toilet in the middle of the night. Location was convenient but do write down the directions if you don't have mobile internet because it is tucked away.

Good stay at Great location
Nice place to stay very close to Hongdae eating and bars. Comfortable beds, but bathroom could be a little cleaner. Strong wifi

i was stayed in Korea for 2 weeks and stayed in numerous guesthouse and this is the worst guesthouse that i had been stay in Korea. My arms were sting by unknown insects when i used their blanket and caused my arms red and swollen. The better things was the locations that is near to hongik night market and near to subway. But I'm not recommended u guys to stay in this guesthouse.

Beware, ratings are inflated.
CONS 1) Manager speaks in a very condescending tone. I've observed him doing it to other guests as well as his own staff. Creates a VERY unpleasant atmosphere/culture and I think it makes the staff themselves less friendly to guests. 2) many bed sheets have weird stains 3) they don't wash the blankets (but they wash the sheets) 4) wifi can be super slow 5) toilets washed once a day--at night often clogged/super dirty 6) There is absolutely no way this hostel deserves 3.5 stars on Expedia (at the time of this writing). I think the manager is putting up fake reviews to boost their rating. 7) the kitchen/lounge area didn't have much people at all over the course of a few weeks. 8) heating in room not turned on at all, even after asking the Manager and he assured us it would be turned on. He lied and did nothing. PROS 1) some (not all) staff were helpful and kind: SuYeon, Rani (I forget her Korean name), YuanYue, Tracy, Ellie 2) trash emptied & toilets sprayed down once a day 3) cheap-ish (nearby hostels are a bit more expensive, but MUCH better) 4) honestly, not much else... I'm really struggling to think of more.

Great location, perfectly serviceable room
Location is really easy to get to from the airport. It's a short walk from the hongik university stop. The area directly surrounding the hostel is pretty quiet but hongdae and the university area within walking distance with shops and restaurants. Two markets are also very close to the hostel if you want to cook. The kitchen is in the lounge area and is just fine to use. The hostel does not have an actual bar, just a lounge area and attached smoking room. Our twin bunk room was clean with fresh sheets provided for you to make your bed. Comforter was nice and bed was on the softer side for a Korean hostel. Towels and key require a cash deposit. Our room came with a heater that worked very well. Shared bathrooms are okay. Front desk takes lunch and dinner breaks about 12-1pm and 7-8pm.

Finding the hotel was a challenge
I had a hard time finding the hotel because i don't speak korean good thing when i called the hotel the staff who answered the phone knows how to speak english and gave me directions on how to get to the hotel from the train station.the room was ok except they didn't have any AC inside the room

It was the best hostel that I've been for the atmosphere, the party people and enjoying the time. But the rooms were not so nice. Almost no window in the room so the smell wasn't good at all when you come back into the room. But for people who wants to meet other young traveller, I highly recommend it !!!

First day in Seoul
Kimchee Sinchon was easy enough to find, even late in the night. Clear directions were provided and its a short walk from the station. The toilet was clean and big, and there were cubicles, so there was enough to go around. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The only thing that I would say could be improved is the room, it was pretty cramp and the room light was kinda dim. As backpacking hostels go, Kimchee Sinchon covered your basic necessities and so I would say it was a pretty good place to crash at at the end of the day. They provide lockers too, so that's good.

Great welcoming for newcomer
I needed a room last minute as my group plans fell through. So this came up in search results on my almost-dead phone at a coffee shop wifi. I found the place about a block off the main road, and fortunately one of the staff ran into me as I was very late getting in (otherwise I would have missed checking in). They also got me a new sim card the next day with 1GB of data for 20,000W (as long as you have been in Korea for 3 days). The staff was friendly and there were a ton of fun offers for tourism and souvenirs around the hotel. There is also a dart machine in the basement if you are good at darts, you can win discounts up to a free night. The AC was on full blast which I love, since I sleep at 60F back home, so I slept like a boss.
