Best Hotel we stayed in for China. The staff did some nice things for us and are very accommodating and helpful for foreigner travelers. Location is very central, and relatively close to the Bund, Yu Garden, etc. Had a great stay.

Although the hotel is a not new but kept very well. The location is perfect. The service is excellent. The reception manager Leo is very friendly and professionally. We enjoyed our long stay of 11 nights at suite room. Will come back again.

An awesome visit to Shanghai.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The lounge on the 38th was a nice place to unwind after a long day of seeing the sites. The views were amazing!

The hotel itself was very nice and we had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were nice and professional, the facilities were good, the room was nice and with An amazing view, and our three days in Shanghai were otherwise a very positive experience.
However, the final impression was unfortunately spoiled by the airport transfer arranged by the hotel. During the ride, the driver started chewing some kind of substance and repeatedly spitting, making loud and unpleasant noises. This was quite uncomfortable and frankly unhygienic, especially in a confined space.
While I understand that this behavior may be culturally acceptable in some contexts, it felt inappropriate for a hotel-arranged service and detracted from an otherwise excellent stay. It’s a small detail, but it left a negative final impression that could easily be avoided with better guidance to drivers.
