"Have already booked another stay, the motel is in a quiet area, the grounds are well maintained and tidy, the room is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable and clean. Close to a little shops and highway Definitely a go to place ."

"I was after an overnighter in that general area and the Aussie was a fraction of the price of anything within cooee. It is an old structure but well maintained along with toaster and tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities in my room. Comfy bed, easy chair, table, TV etc. Only thing less than perfect was that the shower fitting couldn't be adjusted properly because one of the wingnuts wouldn't tighten properly. For all that it was still adjustable enough to have a good shower. More than happy. Thoroughly recommend the Aussie."

"Great and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, fittings as expected for an over 100 year old pub. Strange there was no breakfast options available, noisy refrigeration units on top of cold room near our room meant sleeping with ear plugs in, a sink in the bathroom would be good, otherwise a most enjoyable stay."
