Within short walking distance of many Broadway theaters, which was my reason for being there. We were caught in a downpour after one show without umbrellas. But only had to run across the street to be under the roof of the Marriott. Huge mobs in Times Square, but you would have to dodge your way through those, no matter where you stay.

Jul 28, 2019Glad we didn't pay full price for tickets. Was ok to try, will probably not ever go back. Food outrageously priced - $5.49 for a 16oz bottle of water! We were going to buy all day dining passes ($35 per person) but at the last minute decided to stop at the local grocery store and buy lunch meat, snacks, fruit, etc and just went back to our vehicles and picniked. Would have been $245 for 7 of us with the passes...instead it was $60 (and we had leftovers!).
