“This is a lovely old house nicely renovated and decorated in a light and simple modern way, and quite well maintained. There is lots of parking and the bus from Portree can drop you off at the bus shelter right in front. Although my single room was small, it was very clean and had some pretty decorations and a comfy bed. It was lovely to hear the birds singing outside the window with the view of tall rhododendron bushes. The tea tray and a small fridge were helpful to have. The heavy curtains...

“We loved this hotel however, it was clearly understaffed at the restaurant. The wait was long and the servers were inexperienced. No drinks prior to our meals arriving. The food was good but the poor service put all into a bad mood. That being said, there is not a lot of choice in the small areas in the country so we considered ourselves lucky that we had a meal at all. Booking is a must.”
