“We stayed one night at Loch Ness Lodge on the way from Skye to Royal Deeside, two days after getting engaged, and it was exactly the right place to land.
Gabriel and the team had been in touch well before we arrived - clear directions, dinner sorted for us next door at The Clansman, and when we walked into our room there was red wine, chocolates and berries waiting with a note. It's a small lodge and it feels like one: quiet, personal, and looked after by people who plainly care about it.

“This is a lovely place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything in our room looked freshly updated, from the bathroom to the decor. The good quality terry robes and slippers were a nice touch. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The location was a short walk (15 minutes or so) into town along a quiet, safe street. Parking was provided. It really was perfect for our needs. Most of the other establishments we saw nearby were B&Bs....

“This accommodation was so beautiful and comfortable. We had a great stay here. The place was very clean. Beautiful skylights in the lounge area, a very functional kitchen. Everything has been thought of. The restaurant across the road also serves great food.”

“Los pods son preciosos y muy funcionales. Todo está muy limpio y cuidado. El personal de recepción muy bien. La única pega es que desde el parking a los pods hay un camino de unos 300m por donde en algunas zonas las ruedas de la maleta se atascan al ser de arena.”

“Wonderful little cabin! Very clean and cozy. It was so cute inside with the highland cow items and duck curtains. Area was quiet and the beds were comfy for some good restful sleep mid trip.
Would 100% recommend.
The only thing that wasn’t the best was after the second person showered they ran out of out water. So the water is very hot but doesn’t last very long.
Also one of the last guests left bag of dog poop under the front stairs, we tossed it in the garbage but please clean up properly...
