Sadly due for a very much needed facelift in the rooms. The check in team member was very withdrawn, distracted and irritated. The room felt more like a low budget motel. Location is good though.

A very nice hotel centrally located, just steps from the George Theatre (NBPac), the State Theatre, and the excellent Stage Left Steak. Also close to Rutgers for student family stays. King room was large, very quiet, and had modern fixtures. No complaints at all. Also, a good value for the room rate.

This location is great as it's close to the train station and plenty of food options near by. The staff is extremely warm and helpful!! I had some unforseen circumstances that caused a very late arrival, and everyone I spoke to at the front desk at each stage offered helpful information and kind reassurance. The only disappointment was that breakfast isn't available. Since there are many travelers on tight schedules at odd hours, I was hoping for a quick option for a go to hotel breakfast.

I loved that the hotel was 50 ft away from the theater. And that you can have a drink and a bite to eat by 10 pm. Christopher’s Restaurant was very huge. Empty place for business. Carpets and chairs were dirty. The room that we stayed in reeked of dog ! I have a very high allergy to dogs and everything in the room smelled like a dog.. I broke out in hives and had to use my EPI , I coughed and wheezed the whole night. I didn’t complain to anyone . I just took care of myself and manages to get out alive.

Great location. Great Valet staff that were super helpful even if you want to self park. The lobby is very nice and spacious for gathering, and the restaurant/bar is great too. But in my room the shower did not work at all, and the room and provisions were run down, including threadbare towels. I only stayed one night, and when being ready to take a shower I didn't have hours to wait for maintenance to address the non-working shower. So no, I did not contact the front desk. When I checked out soon after, the front desk attendant said, Quote: "Well, other than that, was everything else decent?"

It’s a great location and the bed is quite comfortable. Had some issues with the shower knob coming loose and the water pressure is high but the stay was great. Love how nice the rooms and entire building always smell as well. Cleaning personnel was very friendly and always helpful. Front desk staff was pleasant. Parking can definitely be an issue if you’re not doing uber keep that in mind.

Location good. Property could use some TLC and a renovation is due. No gift shop to pick up incidentals or any room service. Since a quick trip, not an issue, but something to note. Price and location was driver here.
