Quick trip to bruce peninsula on short notice

Space is really just to sleep in. If youre trying to go to bruce peninsula and everywhere near the park are fully booked, the hostel is a good alternative and affordable.

Terrible place

The place was terrible, people were using drugs in front, there wasn't enough bathroom for everyone, the bad smell was unbearable, the place was dirty

Haunted Hotel?

When we saw this Hostel, we decided to just go back home and drive 6 hours through the night even were all so tired from all the activities we did in Tobermory. We feel don’t safe at all. Best to describe it as Haunted Hostel. Never had experience anything like this with hotel.ca, they should have not allowed the NON-REFUNDABLE payment, we felt robbed by this and left with no option. Not fit for family and female group to stay.

Avoid this place, it is semi abandoned, I don't think they clean the sheets and blankets, you will sleep in someone else's sheets, it does not have its own bathroom, the shared bathrooms are very dirty with the smell of pee and hair in the sinks. Only when entering the place it smells like a nest of mice, it does not have a front desk. I wouldn't pay more than 20 dollars to sleep there!

Location is very convenient. If going to Tobermory and Sauble Beach. However I didn't see the name of the Hostel on the building. I was lucky to remember the place from the pictures shown on the website. Some sigh would be helpfull to confirn one is on the right place. What I didn't like, is that it was noisy. People can be very excited and forget, they are sharing the space with other people who are tired and need a resting sleep. Other than that I like the place, friendly and helpfull staff. I would go back there. Next time I'll bring ear plugs.

Opt for this only if you are travelling on a tight budget or don’t have any other alternatives. Do not expect hotel level of cleanliness or service in the hostel. Room: Barely any space to walk around. The pillows were half sized and flat similar to those pillows meant for couch. The bed was flat as well and provided minimal comfort. There was hair under the blankets and not to mention stains which was highly disturbing. Kitchen: Absolutely disgusting. Utensils were everywhere with food and dirt remains over the years Toilets : Prepare to wave your hand every 30 seconds while trying to poop. cause the auto sensor lights will switch off and the toilet will be pitch dark. there are only two toilets and one shower facility so be prepared in summary, this hostel can be explored if you have extremely low expectations and just want a roof over your head for one night. else don’t let this mar your getaway.

You can hear everything from your room, very noisy place, people walking and talking in the hallway late at night. People just don’t respect rules about silence. The room is hot and the mattress e the pillows are very uncomfortable. I didn’t enjoy my stay and I was very disappointed. I don’t recommend this place.
