“Very clean and cozy little cabin in a cluster of cabins near the university. We only slept there one night, but there seemed to be cooking utensils for a simple meal. There were no instructions for the heating and cooling units, but we figured out one heater which was fine for the whole cottage.”

“On our 8 day trip this cabin was, by far, the best place we stayed. It really is very remote, so be sure you are ok with that. I believe it was something close to 12 miles back to Custer and most of that is dirt/gravel roads. For us, this was perfect. Super peaceful, beautiful property. Even horses on the property that were friendly. The owners were super friendly and helpful and great to chat with. We will absolutely stay here again in the future. We are already looking forward to it.”

“The home is in fair condition for an older home and about what one should expect with the exception of the tub and shower. It is not acceptable and needs replaced. It is located on the top of a hill with great views of the mining pit. It was quiet and comfortable but needs some TLC.”

“Comfortably fit our family of 6. Kitchen was nice and functional. Not much seating for eating but during warm weather, front porch would work good. WiFi and tv options were good. Easy location. Clean. ”
