Guest Houses in South Jeolla

"Cosy and well equipped guesthouse with an excellent view of Yeosu city. The guesthouse was very clean and the beddings were sufficient for my family of 4. Simple breakfast (bread, cereal, milk and juice provided) and large common area for meals/relaxation etc. Desktop computers and games were available also. Accessibility will be difficult for those without vehicles as it is located on a small hill. There are steps to climb down/up when entering/leaving the guesthouse, so not that convenient...

"친구들과 일년에 두번있는 모임인데 우연히 이곳을 알게되어 예약을하고 가게되었다. 아~~기대이상으로 좋았다 어차피 하룻밤 묵고 갈거라 별기대안했는데 친절한 사장님 내외분과 다음날 집밥으로 조식까지 아주 정갈하고 좋았다.사장님 감사해요 다음에 또 들를게요"

"A wonderful stay in the countryside. Even though the owner was not there I was looked after fabulously by her parents. They fed me, gave me lifts and were very caring and kind. They spoke little English but we managed perfectly with Google translate! "

"처음 가본 게스트하우스였는데 생각보다는 깔끔했습니다. 근데 학생들이 많이 이용하는 곳이라 그런지 가족 단위에는 조금 편의시설이 부족한거 빼고는 다 만족합니다. 혹시라도 저처럼 가족들이 이용하는 공간을 구성할 경우 편의시설(tv, 컴터 등) 구비 부탁드립니다. 그런 편의시설이 없어도 많이 좋았다는^^"

"Bedding was not proper. They didn’t fresh bedding and use over sand over without washing. Also they didn’t provide bath tower and small hand tower were smelly. Owner was not kind and almost rude. "

"The best guest house in Mokpo city! It is very close to all Mokpo sightseeings so that I can walk and travel around there. The host is very kind, I can feel comfortable. Especially if you book 301, 302 (even 303) together, you can enjoy the whole third floor and kitchen facillities."

"AC didn't work. Fan didn't work. No refrigerator in room, you have to share one refrigerator in common kitchen. Window curtain barely blocks the light. Another curtain does nothing to block noise from outside door. Check-in was some guy at the cafe who promptly disappeared."

"I booked and paid for this hostel, only to arrive and be told that my room had been given to someone else, and that I must have booked a male dormitory by mistake. Being a woman, I obviously didn't do so. After confirming that I did, in fact, book a non gendered dorm, and that I'd paid, the manager found somewhere else for me to stay for the night.
