Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order. They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok. The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open.”

“Owners are incredibly welcoming and really friendly. We very much enjoyed our daily chats. Breakfast was as belly busting as you wish. Eggs straight from the hens in the garden. “The only slight disappointment was the waiting time at the table for our meals which is why I only scored four stars on service. However, everything else was superb. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and well kept.
