I got the impression the owners live in the attached home, which is probably why it's so nice. My only actual complaint is the free breakfast was lacking. “I'm sorry to disagree with some of these other reviews. I was unimpressed with this hotel. The room had a slight musty odor, and the bed was a bit outdated and somewhat saggy. Loved the good hot shower though, with lots of pressure. Please take some of the renovation money you are spending and buy a new toaster for the breakfast area!”

“This was a great choice of place to stay while we visited French Lick for my birthday weekend. Just a 10 min or less drive to the casino and lots of good restaurant choices. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and when we were first unloading our suitcases in the room we noticed the smoke alarm was chirping every minute needing new batteries.
