"I would absolutely recommend this hotel especially for a family with little kids! The room was so spacious you could set up a playpen and still have room it also had a small table with 2 chairs. The room smelled clean! Not that musty smell you get from other hotels. It's at the entrance to Carlsbad National Park and down the road is a town with all kinds of stores and restaurants. Downfall was breakfast it was cereal cups, muffins and apple and oranges with juice and coffee but that was it. Over all yes stay here!!"

"The hot tub was broken and the pool was not very well maintained. The rooms were very clean and smelled great. The breakfast was constantly running out of things and had to ask the staff often to get more or fix things that weren't working right. Overall, good experience and would recommend."

"Loved the room and was very quiet, definitely need to work on the breakfast it could be lots better, was so excited about having a bar and bar was closed both Friday and Saturday that was very disappointing but overall had a nice stay and staff was great!"
