"Our non-smoking room was in need of repair with peeling paints/molded bathroom. Both queen beds had strong smoking odor. 3 out of 4 times that we came out of the room, we ran into smokers congregating in the parking lot a few feet from our door."

"We had a lovely stay at this very charming hotel. Our room with 2 queens was really spacious and clean. Traditional decor, comfortable and crisp white bedding, great shower water pressure are all a plus. Only suggestion is to improve the lighting in the bathroom, as it was a bit dark. Also wish the hot tub had been opened. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast and outdoor dining patio. Free parking. Excellent location in beautiful downtown Ashland and walkable to everything. Will...
