"Clean and well maintained accommodation. Bistro had a nice atmosphere and good food. Bar was inviting. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Particularly the reception staff. Stayed for a business trip with my family and will definitely stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, there is also a wonderful gourmet restaurant called Deux Soeurs. We really liked the location which is about six minutes walk from the train into Flinders Street. We recommend this hotel and found it very good value for money."

"This would have to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We were met on arrival with the feeling that we were 'expected and welcome'. During our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was light, airy, well-conditioned and scurrilously clean. We will be definitely returning to this lovely hotel."

"We stay here often when in town. With a full agenda we decided to see if we could check in early, mainly to get our key as we would be back late after reception closed. We arrived at 12.15 and were told we could check in early for a $50 fee. Or we could come back at 1.30 and check in early at no cost. We chose the latter and went for a coffee. We do understand that checking in early is at the hotels discretion, but obviously the room was available so the fee did seem excessive. Overall we love staying here when visiting family nearby. "
