"A low budget hotel for a 2 night stay in Boise. The building is like something from 1970’s Russia and is incredibly outdated. It offers an abundance of free parking however and is within walking distance of Downtown Boise.
Staff were lovely, Melissa in particular. Reception area is clean and spacious and the free tea and coffee is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and bright. Toiletries and towels provided were of good quality and plentiful.
The hallways are awful, stained carpets and a very stale smell. I was on the third floor. Doors to the rooms and furniture in the rooms is old, worn and damaged but the bed was clean and comfortable. Air con worked well and the hotel is nice and quiet at night. Nice modern TV with access to Netflix which was really nice. Good quality refreshments in the room.
The one thing that let the room down was the absolutely FILTHY floor. I looked under the bed and the dust was thick. Those floors haven’t been cleaned properly in years and I had to throw two pairs of socks in the bin as they were black after walking in the room. PLEASE clean the floors! It’s really quite disgusting.
All in all, I had a good stay. The staff on reception were absolutely delightful, but the cleanliness of the rooms really needs some attention.
I would stay here again however, if I ever found myself in Boise again."
