Hotel is great, on an upper floor of a failed mall so don’t let that put you off. Location of hotel is perfect for old town and the waterfront. Staff were very helpful. There is NO parking at the hotel. We ended up in a pay lot that was reasonably close - but pricey.

Our stay was comfortable overall. Staff member who checked us in was friendly & genuinely tried to help us. Unfortunately, check-in was awful. The first challenge was parking with no advance information before arrival. We parked illegally to check-in. Finding the reception desk was also a challenge. There's no clear exterior signage on where to check in, just a small paper notice taped to one of the entrance doors, which was easy to miss. The reception desk was unattended with no bell or other way to notify staff we were there. We had to call the hotel, wait for someone to answer, and then wait awhile for staff to come to the desk. After checking in, we learned the hotel's parking spaces were full. The receptionist kindly provided addresses of several nearby public parking garages, but it would have helped to get that info before we got there. Primo Life has friendly staff and a nice property, but arrival and check-in could be greatly improved. Please provide guests with parking information before arrival (including alternative parking options if on-site parking is full), improve exterior signage, and ensure guests have an easy way to reach staff when the reception desk is unattended. Again, the property was nice. The AC was amazing! The room was clean, but please give guests full-sized bath towels instead of hand towels for showering and ones without rips. We needed ear plugs from the club nearby and couldn't escape the strong bass booming until nearly morning.

Generally good place to stay, central as it gets. Staff helpful, arranged airport transfers for us. Out of hours check in wasn’t a problem. Communal areas in need of some TLC but rooms were recently modernised.

The location was good and the staff was friendly. But they missrepresented the room, they call it a suite and charge 200 extra for an extra person. But its actually just a single small room. And the a/c doesnt work, which makes it really hard to sleep.

Not worth the price

Looks nice on pictures, room was big but it looked very used. The bed was so uncomfertable I have back pain. The cleaning lady woke me up every morning and when asked to please come back later she never did... Location is good but I would much rather recommend an airBnB instead with regard to location.. There is also allot of light entering the room so you cant really get any decent sleep..

The room was large, central location, friendly receptionist. Difficult to find entrance at night as in partially empty shopping centre and limited information provided on booking. Dirty duvets and no food available. No hot water at 8.30pm. In the morning we had hot water but plug blocked and so shower flooded bathroom. No secure storage available for luggage once checked out although the staff did allow us to leave it luggage in hallway.

It’s in an abandoned shopping mall. That is exactly how it is ran. We got to the hotel at 3:00 pm during operating hours. The staff was not there to check us in. After waiting 2 hours they did not show up or answer phone calls so we left and applied for a refund.

Will be back!

I was traveling alone in Split and this was the perfect spot. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, room was super clean and comfortable, and it was just on the edge of the old town. I felt super safe walking to and from the hotel even after dark. Great location and experience.
