“Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent.”

“The hotel was easy to find with good parking. Check in was straight forward. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, except for the scrambled eggs which were extremely watery, there was plenty of choice and I was able to have a substantial full English.”

“It was ok for a cheap few hours sleep after travelling, was a little annoyed that the shower gel had run out and hadn't been topped up prior to my arrival but I just used the hand-wash that was likely the same anyway! Check in was simple at 2.30am and I was gone by 8am.”

Very nice toiletries provided and excellent tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room facilities with biscuits! I really enjoyed the comfortable residents lounge which was unexpected but a nice place to relax and read a book (motor racing or vehicle enthusiasts will enjoy the book selection).
