"The pictures online were not what the in person experience ended up to be. When I first pulled in to the parking lot I thought the hotel was abandoned. Property wasn't maintained well. The staff were nice and helpful though. Guest wifi didn't reach my room. Just was not a great experience."

"The hotel staff are really nice and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Just be aware that there is no elevator in this hotel. Even half of the downstairs rooms have a small flight of stairs you need to go up. If you have mobility issues, this might be a challenge. I had torn my meniscus a couple years ago, and even after surgery, it’s still gets some twinges. It didn’t feel great after lugging my suitcases up a flight of stairs. I actually stayed here two times the same week. I was there for one night for an event the next day, then came back a couple days later for a weekend event. The first night I was there, there were the loudest stompers and talkers above my head. I had to call the front desk twice (once at 11:00pm and once at 1:00am). The second time they physically went up to the room to tell them they had to quiet down, and I was FINALLY able to sleep. When I came back for the weekend, I opted for a second floor room despite the stairs just to avoid having another stomper above my head. It’s an older hotel, so the walls (and floors) just aren’t that soundproof. That said, it’s a nice hotel. If you’re traveling with a dog, they have a nice green space behind the hotel for them to go potty. Breakfast was good with good coffee. I enjoyed my stay here, all things considered."

"We've stayed here many times and have noticed the hotel is starting to show wear and tear from the transient workers. Having grown up in the area, we refuse to pay a lot of money to stay in Monaca/Center Township, PA. We pulled in and two huge men (workers) were hanging out in the main entrance. Then, only one of our two keys worked despite three tips back and forth to try and fix it (battery needed changed). Then, there was only one tiny soap for two adults, staying two nights. Also, there were only two charging ports in the room which eventually died, too. I asked for a second alarm clock with charging ports but it didn't work (perhaps it needed set up?). Again, this is a bare bones, no extras hotel. I was highly disappointed because previously we've had no major issues like this time. This hotel is basically just a roof over your head and bed to sleep in. Speaking of beds, don't make a mess because they never made our beds, either."

"Only thing available for b-fast was coffee. But only sugar was available-no sweetener. Halls needed to be vacuumed as did room. There are enough choices of motels in the area so that I would stay at another. Front desk help was very nice, though. Stan Potler"
