Lovely place to stay in Portpatrick

Had a fantastic short break at Fernhill Hotel. The staff really looked after us and were second to none. Parking was easy and the views across the bay were beautiful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Portpatrick

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Fernhill. The views were beautiful and the service was excellent, especially Lachlan in the dining room. Portpatrick overall is a hidden gem and we hope to return soon!

The hotel is a little bit dated but clean and comfortable with excellent service. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with plenty of options and unlimited coffee and tea. The staff are helpful and attentive without being obtrusive.

As soon as we walked into the hotel we were faced with a stunning view over Portpatrick from the huge window in reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was bigger than expected and had a balcony with a view over Portpatrick and out to sea.

The property is well placed with fine views. The staff were excellent and the rooms and meals were very good. Straight forward short walk to the town and sea front but it is steep for anyone with mobility problems. Great location for a short break.
