“The Northwest Castle is a very out dated hotel, needs to update especially the rooms. We stayed in a bungalow which surprised me as I thought we were staying in the hotel.
The staff are lovely , very helpful and very friendly.
The food is average.
For £121 per night b&b I would expect better. Bathrooms old with deep bath and poor shower above the bath. Stayed a couple of times the first time being in the hotel. Wouldn't stay again unless guaranteed a hotel stay and a modern room. Shame!”
“We had a lovely stay at the Castle - the room was beautiful as was the food. The staff in the restaurant and those who welcomed us were amazing. Only disappointment was on check out we asked the history of the castle and were told by a very disinterested staff member to "look it up online"! We thought they would have been very proud to talk about the history and when it was built etc. Other than that we loved it!”
