Streatham, London hotel rooms at the GLH Hotels

"The view from the hotel is spectacular. The location was also amazing. We were able to easily get from the airport to the hotel with our luggage and also visit the entire city through the nearby metro or uberboat. Two complaints were the check in and the morning coffee. First, they have a self-check in but it required assistance and took a lot of time. "Excellent hotel! Spacious rooms, daily cleaning service, all the staff very friendly. Only in the bathroom you could see rusty parts that made it feel dirty but it was clean. The bathrooms needed an update. The breakfast buffet was very complete and delicious. We really enjoyed the bar and the music show at night. Excellent location with plenty of shopping and transportation options. "

"Staff was great. It’s a big hotel so I had to walk at least a city block to get from the elevator to the room. Only two elevators for the entire hotel so there was always a wait. Sometimes you had to wait for the second or third elevator before you could get one. This was the only real negative."

"The Royal Horseguards was a government building in WWIi and housed the Russian and US embassies. One the top floor was one of Churchill’s office. The front desk and concierge staff, especially the concierge, was excellent. The food service needs a new Director. "The hotel is in a convenient location with easy access to the tube as well as shops, restaurants and conveniences. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The AC was not working in the rooms and so it was very warm at night. The breakfast is also overpriced so we opted to grab coffee and croissants across the street. Definitely recommend though."
