"One of the best things about this hotel is Hesham (Front Desk/check-in). He welcomes you like an old friend (even if it's your first time staying there). Our room (and two other groups/guests) wasn't ready - not his fault as we were early to check-in. He offered us a seat in reception, showed us where we could get coffee/tea from while we waited (they have an amazing cappuccino machine and a great selection of teas. When our room was ready (not long at all - we hadn't even finished our coffee's or the fresh baked cookies they offer daily), he didn't call out from behind the desk, he walked over to us on the couch and told us he could finish checking us in now. Our room was spotless, cozy and bright. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Our room had a fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The breakfast (included with our stay) had a great section (eggs, sausage, potato, fruit, pastries/breads, yogurt, make your own waffles and a lot more). Our stay was 5 star. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in the area."

"On the whole the facility was good. Bed was comfortable. Instructions for the TV was helpful. Clean, lots of towels, soap etc. the kitchen could use a toaster, scissors, cutting board, big knives and serving spoons. The location was excellent. Views are wonderful. Interesting restaurants and shops. On the whole great stay"

"Bit of a confusing arrival woith no obvious entry to the check in, it's beside the bottle shop by the way. Room was good. Old pub that's been renovated. Best feature was the modern split system aircon which was whisper quiet, unlike the older style ones across the US and Canada which are loud and struggle to maintain a comfortable temperature balance."

"The cottage was very pretty .... nice fireplace, beautiful deck and lake view, comfortably furnished. We weren't aware that there would be many stairs leading from the parking area to the cottage. Fortunately, we have the mobility to manage those stairs and carry our luggage, but many people our age would have difficulty. We were disappointed that we couldn't check in until 5:00. A 4:00 check in would enable guests to settle in and begin their vacation time more comfortably. We felt that the kitchen facilities could have been cleaner. The oven had not been cleaned for a long time, and the dish drying rack, and the kitchen sinks needed a good scrub. We also gave the fridge interior a wipe-down."
