"Newly remodeled areas/ rooms are beautiful. Check-in, for our group of 4 couples, was very smooth, staff was welcoming & we received free drink coupons! We were all impressed with the new Black Rocks restaurant. Our meals were delicious and our server, Janelle, was phenomenal! She was very friendly & professional. We look forward to staying here again and would highly recommend anyone to stay."

"The room was clean, recently remodeled, cozy, quiet and comfortable. It felt like we were sleeping in a guest room at a friend's house rather than a motel. We watched some of the river traffic right from our room window. It is conveniently close to downtown. We will definitely stay here again on our next overnight in the Soo."

"If the sauna had been operational and the staff had supplied any sort of bar soap in the bathroom we would have been very happy. Honestly the prospect of a sauna was the ONLY reason why we chose this hotel, so finding it broken was a major disappointment and kind of ruined things for us. The room was clean (minus the missing bar soap) and comfortable. Parking was easy. Hotel is located in a good location with easy driving access to everything. The breakfast bar was acceptable - not the best, not the worst."

"AC was sufficient, loved the 24 hour coffee & microwaves. More vending machines would be nice.The shower was icky and stinky and there was a full toenail on the floor behind the nightstand. We were trying to find an outlet. Parking was good, it was quiet in the room."
