"The hotel is really new and modern, and the staff are lovely. But overall it is COMPLETELY unprepared to handle the volume it is currently pushing with tour groups. Just two staff members and two printed menus to service the entire restaurant each evening. Tour groups all depart at approx the same time which means there is 120 people descending upon the restaurant for breakfast at once - again, it was completely unable to cope, with one poor guy rushing madly around trying to do everything. "Amazing stay at the Sheraton Zagreb. As a loyal Bonvoy member, this hotel did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the spacious room, the wellness centre with three saunas and a pool, the ease of walkability to the old town and down town. The staff were super lovely and very welcoming. The check in and check out process was very smooth. The only downfall is you can see the wear and tear of the place and needs renovations which are being done gradually. But that doesn’t take away from how lovely the stay was. Definitely book here if you’re in Zagreb. "

"Overall, this is a pleasing hotel. The breakfast is excellent but the restaurant offerings are expensive without many choices. The location in lower town is fine if you want close access to the train but most of the action and sights are in upper town. There are also very few restaurants in this area. The classic king room was tight but the bathroom was spacious with plush towels. We walked to upper town and back fairly easily (20 minutes each way)."
