“Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners.”

“Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. “The hotel is located near the Moreton-in-the-Marsh train station, which makes it very convenient to access for travelers without cars. I found the staffs kind, and the library on the first floor is nice and cozy. The room itself is a bit small and the TV didn't work, but I didn't mind too much. I'd visit the hotel again”
