โIt is an older hotel, but we didnโt care if it was updated or not. The lady at the front desk was a wealth of information . The views are amazing daylight but evening was spectacular!! Wow!! Definitely spend the money and get the views!!

โUpdated but still has that โmotor inn โ vibe. Clean and comfortable. Reasonable place to stay on the way to Bar Harbor. Bar / restaurant onsite was reasonable and good food. If your the type that has to have the 4star plus experience you might not like it but I thought it was perfect for the price โ

The yard was spectacular, with a fountain, sculptures, and large lawn even including a visiting young family of deer. Great view of the ocean from the front porch.โ
โMy husband and I were looking for a place to stay the night on a road trip up to Acadia so we booked at Howard Johnson. My only complaint was the overpowering smell in the lobby during check-in. However, once we got up to our room that smell was gone. The room was spacious and clean and I absolutely loved the look of the 1970's vibe. The bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was great and the staff members were kind and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment...
โDidnt particularly care about the sand and the bottom of the pool my sons feet were all beat up by the sand scrapping his feet besides that we slept awsome we woke up refreshed it was a great place to stay we will be back again. Thank u.
