Granlibakken Tahoe
8/10 Good
"Overall the stay was without incident. We did have a facility issue with opening one of the 2 windows (1 window would not open). The facility looks a bit dated (the paint in our bathroom ceiling was peeling, with a small strip of sheetrock tape hanging from the ceiling). Due to the high altitude, our coffee pod exploded inside the coffee maker, making a mess with coffee grinds all over the inside of the machine. Perhaps using a different type of coffee maker (like the filtered pads) would handle the altitude better. It would have been good to have been warned about the exploding coffee pods from the staff because the other coffee pods in the holder next to the machine appeared "puffed" out, and likely a common occurrence. We were only staying a short time (2 nights) so not worth reporting to the staff. Overall an okay experience."
Basecamp Tahoe City
8/10 Good
"Clean, good for an overnight. Bed not super comfortable. Overall positive experience."
Pepper Tree Inn
8/10 Good
"The hotel puts you in a good area of the Tahoe City restaurants bars, shops and sporting stores access to the lake. Marina is excellent."
